Whilst the Fishponds is a smoking pub, on our Xmas Meal jobbie there will be 25 of us in a smallish eating area in the restaurant - where smoking could be a problem for those eating/non smokers

So to be fair to everyone, anyone who wants to smoke should "adjourn" to the bar for a ciggie and refrain from smoking at the dining tables

Bert non smoking sections in a restaurant are like having a pissing section in the swimming baths.

I don't like having a nanny state telling me what to do either but I dont like some obnoxious Twat blowing smoke in my direction either when I'm eating or having a drink in the pub.

I wonder how smokers would like it if I had a drink or two, then pissed all over them?

They smoke, and breathe out all the waste shit all over the rest of us, so what's the difference?

You are not allowed to take alchohol into football grounds, and they charge such extortianate prices for it in the bars in the grounds that you need a mortgage to get pissed,
Yes some people do get pissed before a match but two hours without alchohol sometimes sobers them up
sometimes they do cause bother at football matches sober or drunk but better there where they are contained and there is a strong police presence than out in the streets where police have little chance of catching them,
If you go into any city or town on a weekend and some other days of the week you will find people spilling out of night clubs pissed up and throwing up and some wanting to fight everybody so lets ban night clubs, people are what they are and it doesn't matter if you close down football grounds,bars or whatever, they will always find a way to cause trouble.

Seems fair to me!!! Ive no problem with banning Football and drinking in PUBLIC!! and as for smoking !!Yup!! deffo ban that!! IN PUBLIC!! :dunno:
