Hi guys n gals.
Most of you know of Simsie & Bridget who are vital members of the midlands massif. I have the sad task to let you all know, that Al has been diagnosed with having a growth (or non malignant tumor) underneath his brain. He was going to have it removed in about a fortnight through his nose, but the growth has turned out to be larger than first expected....
Both Al & Bridget were due to attend DB's 40th birthday party this weekend with the massiff, but the Queen elizabeth hospital Birmingham has brought the op forward to Saturday morning at 1100hours. Also he will have to have it removed through an opening in the top of his head.
On a more personal note, Jan & I would like to wish both AL & "B" all our love, and tell them that all our prayers and thoughts will be with them during this worrying time.
Jan & I, and Gaz & Tracey are going over to see them both this evening, and will pass on your best for the future.
I have asked Bert to make this thread sticky, so that you will all be able to post your own thoughts, and hopefully we will print it out for them when he is recovering after his op.
Keep safe guys, we need all the freinds we can get,
Loads of love,
Rolfy & Jan
