Most of the public sector prisons are out performing the private sector by miles, we have just had the results of our last audit & achieved an overall score of 100% I cannot recall us ever achieving less than 97%

We are scored in all aspects of security, care of prisoners, safer custody, decency, etc.

Who does the audit? Is it perchance the same Home Office that is in charge of the prison system?

The only thing worse than having too much work is not having enough.

I've been working hard, partly in order to support dole scroungers & a bloated, whinging public sector.

What little time & money is left over gets spent playing with the 'bird & wondering how to make it competitive against newer & shinier bikes.

I hope to be part of the private sector soon if I can find a part-time job. I'm really looking forward to being appreciated by my bosses, a pay rise every year and not being abused by people who think they know what it's like to work for the Government - all things which are part-and-parcel of the job I'm about to leave.

And seeing as you asked earlier I'm a Prison Officer. Or Warder. Or Screw. Or whatever other form of abuse you wish to use.
