Someone got prosecuted recently for injuring a seagull that nicked his chips....from memory I think he received a custodial sentence.Whatever you do don’t grab that gull that just stole the pasty out of your hand and cut it with its sharp bill and stuff it into a dustbin because you’ll get reported to the police. Best to scarper quick next time.
I exaggerated.Someone got prosecuted recently for injuring a seagull that nicked his chips....from memory I think he received a custodial sentence.
Stop, sitting on the fence.I think yappy midget dogs should be classed as vermin and it should be legal to "dispose" of them as you see fit.
Whilst I do not agree with what this tosser did, I can mildly sympathise. Seagulls are a menace and I’ve known them to be quite aggressive. When I first came ashore in 2001, I worked for a small ship owner in Cardiff and every year, a gull would build a nest on the roof of our three storey office to spawn her nippers. As soon as she had taken residence, whenever one of us parked up in the adjacent car park, the vicious bastard would dive bomb us because it somehow deemed us a threat to its nippers. I took a swipe one day with my umbrella and missed her by inches but she still launched another assault but kept her distance and deciding to try shitting on me instead.I exaggerated.
He got a curfew but did kill the seagull.
Idiot.

Oooooh, check out Bill Fuckin’ Oddie here!No such species as a seagull .......
There's black headed gulls, herring gulls, common gulls etc etc
The majority of them never go anywhere near the sea, they live off rubbish tips, sometimes travelling quite long distances each day to/from feeding area.
But they're still noisy, thieving obnoxious gits !
But I'm really not sure one made off with a noisy digest of a dog .... Too much effort.

So before 2001 you had never been on land? When I first came ashore in 2001, .
Now who didn’t see that coming? So before 2001 you had never been on land?
That explains a lot.
Not sure if this is what you are referring to but Dewsbury sold their Crown Flatt ground for housing, they moved to Leeds road end which had recently been built on a council tip site.A rugby club moved location and the players began getting septic abrasions.
A lot of investigation went on including into sewage treatment.
Eventually the decided it was from seagulls flocking on the grounds from nearby dump.
This was in Dublin around 1984Not sure if this is what you are referring to but Dewsbury sold their Crown Flatt ground for housing, they moved to Leeds road end which had recently been built on a council tip site.
Players started getting ill so anybody playing there had to be vaccinated, I think they relaid the turf & treated it with something.
What has the size of the ship owner got to do with it?[/QUOTE][QUOTE="Pow-Lo, post: 849608, member: 24127" I worked for a small ship owner in Cardiff.
