So do I get this correct this block is a replacement for the twin oiler nozzles?:dunno:

It reminds me of the Kettenmax chain cleaner I have and yes it does look a bit like it could disappear into the rear sprocket :dunno:

Please let us know at the moment i am using a twin feed and my side plates always look rusty and grubby

looks as Jaws is going to have to increase his stock levels

It is all early days yet but yes, it certainly looks like they keep the side plates clean to as they are wrapped right round the chain..

And your dead right re stock !
Sold every single one I had on the shelf and the 2nd lot are already on the way.. Mind you, I personally reckon this is the single biggest step Scottoiler have made since they came up with the autofeed system its self..

Got to work this morning after 25 miles and it's still on!

I must say the chain looks very nicely oiled all round now and no tyre splats.

Spoke to one of the techie people at Scotoiler this morning - they ae=re soooohelpful - and we got on to the Slipperblock. It was suggested\hinted that if they are allowed to run 'dry' they might make a break for freedom, and it is well worth turning the oil feed up in cold weather (must admit this is something I have never bothered too much about in the past............).
Also they are confident - after all they developed this thing - that the rider wouldn't even know if the slipper came off as it WILL be mashed by the rear sprocket/chain as if margerine.

If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
And their after sales service is absolutely wonderful!

PS my Sliperblock is still there after 1200 miles. Will be turning the oil feed up in the morning though!!8ree!

As promised photo's of my slipper block.
I.ve gone for the boots and braces approach.
1) slipper block silliconed to top of sprocket to save guard against getting caught between sprocket and chain.
2) extra reseivour clamped to foot rest with clamp on pipes to avoid slipping into wheel.
3) different angle.

Hope this helps.
