I just love the consistency in the thread :D:)
I was certain it was about pensions

As I believe his pension should not be discussed on here I have been doing everything possible to change the subject so you do the same please, Alec. :D

"God's waiting room' has seven schools, possibly suggesting that you know nothing about the town, which is located in some of the most beautiful countryside and stunning coastline you will see anywhere. As well as being in a National Park.:)

As for biking....give me a break!!

Look...you've had a break. Now get back in the saddle FFS. Just don't get a scooter. OK..?

So, back to the point.

Sierra Cosworths are going north in value big time - grab one while you can, ideally a stock RS 500. If such a thing still exists.

Mid life crisis??

If she really wants a Beetle then tell her from me the only cool one is an old one. Especially if it has a Porsche motor, Fuchs alloys and no ground clearance.

And for heavens sake get her off this yellow thing. No car has ever looked good in yellow.

I LOVE YELLOW. Well, primrose yellow not the dark yellow. I once had a LHD Mazda 626 estate resprayed in primrose yellow. Fantastic. I've had two VW campers. Great if one is not in a hurry which one should never be when driving an old VW. As a woman drawing her state pension (back on thread) she is totally unconcerned with "cool." She currently has a Meriva so anything is "cooler" than that anyway.

A yellow VW camper is acceptable.

Convertible = mid life crisis.

It's a fact I'm afraid.

Too late for midlife crisis. She had an Audi convertible for that. Retirement crisis? You're the expert on those, Andy.

If she must then make it the 2.5 V5. Or...if you can find one...the 3.2 V6 RSI. (y)

Cool car but would look a zillion times better in pretty much any other colour.

As for the green radiator surround....oh dear. Oh dear oh dear.

A poor copy of one of the all time great cars.......I give you the Rover BRM......

I didn't wait for retirement for a crisis.

My whole life has been a crisis.

Why do you think I spend so much time on here?
