I think anyone contemplating emigrating from the UK should do it NOW before we suffer the ultimate restriction and are banned from leaving the country.

Watching what happened to a man for uttering ONE WORD of decent at the labour conference today shows just how far down the road of totalitaian communism we have already gone.

Of course the bastards lied and said he was asked to be quiet three times ( wow ! ) but people siiting near him said he had been silent up until that point.

I tell you folks.. I am frankly getting fookin scared and I really aint joking.

Big problem is that any functioning democracy needs a strong opposition to provide a check (I dont mean the Daily Mail) to the government of the day, and this has been sadly lacking for a long time now.

listening to radio 2 today,"Jeremy Vine" they played a "pretend" news bullitin supposed to be some time in the future with the global warming, all the pensioners were coming back from Spain as it was too hot and they couldnt stand the heat, the usa had stopped feeding the world as the "wheat" belts of Wyoming had suffered in the desert type conditions, and half of Norfolk was under water due to the north pole melting!!
you may want to use the play it again mode on the radio 2 site, it's a bit frightening when you consider a lot of what they were saying is actually happening weather wise NOW!!

You are missing the point Robbo. Dont necessarily disagree that the climate is changing. Just not convinced by the current concensus. The worlds climate has always been changing. I am cynical, but I just happen to think that most western governments are using this as a means to scare us into paying more and more taxes to fund their ever more desperate social promises to prop up a failing social model.

Supporting third world countries that were once part of the empire, supporting the war in Iraq, funding illegal immigrants, you name it any bastard that has never paid a penny to this country this government will pay shit loads of cash to.
