Oi-I have you know that Bob's leathers are a 70's design classic.
The only other pair in existance where burned in the fire at the motorcycle musium. Proof that it was a deliberate case of arson my the taste police-it's a crying shame the bikes got caught in the wake.

So Joe, you're as jealous of Ben's leathers as you are of my gloves? Ben nice piece of kit - what padding is there in it? Just asking cause in my Heing Gericke fabric jacket Master V, there is a padding that is eally thin, a bit like a piece of foam, which is amazing - in my attempt to fly last year, the second point of impact was my shoulder, and although the (anti-shearing) fabric was sheared because of, well, the violence of the shock I guess, I didn't even have a bruise  thanks to this padding - so thumbs up! the only think I'm not happy with is that the "thing" around the end of the collar (don't know the Englsih word, sorry) is in fake leather and 15 months later it's already cut... but other than that, Heing Gericke has got my thumbs up! :yo:

Pierre-The armour is their 'Hiprotec' as well as having a shockfoam backing and can be upgraded to expensive stuff if needed. The shoulders have carbon fibre on them.
Because of my bruised coxyx I spent a large wedge on a full race Knox back protecter as well.
For the price I am well chuffed and if nothing else-It is a fast improvement on what I had.

I bought some leathers at the BMF show one year, and whilst wearing the new suit I tried to step over a tent rope. I landed flat on my new padded back.
