we use the critters to teach responsibility to our kids, plus they give us a load of pleasure watching them, all the lizards and snakes we have are well cared for and Tina has been complemented on numerous occasions by "professionals" as to their condition!! :bow:
they are all handled regularly "exept Reg cos he has to get used to us"
I don't like dogs much, "or to put it another way" the jumpy up type that wont fuck off when you tell it!! or the fekin owners that just laugh and say OOH look he/she likes you!! :mad: cats do their own thing, and the rest of the choices are out due to feeding/exercising reasons, snakes and lizards are generally easy to keep, cheap to feed and can go a couple of days without food, (given you provide fresh water) so a weekend away is possible without the need for sitters/kennels, :dunno:
lol my dog;
wud rather go a sale in the car than a walk, sleeps most the day and is a gr8 gaurd dog no1 will hurt me if i have him with me. as for going on weekends away, we have neurmos friends who fite over who will look after him. he is an agel and knows his place.

as for the bird...................... no1 but the family and close friends gets passed himto the garage, and when she is start his tail wags and he gives a cheerful bark, he loves it!!!

Show what you know then!
They are actually a lizard thats dropped its legs and looks more like a snake, hence not so fast as a lizard but as quick as any snake you care to mention.

They are common to the UK and is only one of it natural 'lizards'

Harmless to man - feckin leathal to slugs :yo:

the way things are going just now, it's looking like we might have even more additions to the family soon!! this is what we just caught the skinks doing ten minute's ago!! :eek: there was me "getting to know" Reg, he seems happy to "investigate" me and his surroundings, and Tina points out what the mad buggers were doing now!! :} randy buggers EH?? :}
should I put Chinkey Minkey down for a couple of babys
BTW no captive Berber skinks have been bred from as yet!! so it's looking like Tina's doing something right!! :bow:
