A) it was from 1957, the year I was born.
B) it was a film not a series.

I wasn't born till 59 and yet my early years of childrens TV were plagued with it, every Autumn for a number of years!
Yes, it was a film but which ever channel showed it broke it up into episodes which in my eyes, made it a series!
AS WAS Robinson Crusoe!
