The nly thing is, if it is grey / silver and just plain it will not exactly stand out... It will just look like every other box on the road

I think it’s easy to say that when it’s someone else’s motor.

I toyed with all sorts of colours when I thought I was ordering my last car from an unlimited colour palette...powder blue, orange, emerald green...but when it came down to it I was going for slate, grey metallic with cream leather....looks nice, easy to keep clean and, importantly, sell on.

The only car that really lends itself to madness on colour is a Lamborghini, almost essential to have lurid green, fluo orange or violent purple. Me? I would go for slate grey with orange leather:sisi1

rather fond of a cream bun

The only time I've been brave with the colour palette is with company cars because I won't be losing out come resale.

Spot on Jaws

it won’t be a plain ‘ordinary’ colour ... House of Kolor do some amazing colours in their range
the lacquer should make it ‘pop’ too
And hoping it will stand out from the other replicas !!

Little update ..... was sunny today so I installed the rear BR adjustable suspension (front will be done next weekend ?)
Need to lower the rear slightly ... it’s dropped about 1” but not enough for my liking

Luckily this morning was warm enough to tackle the front suspension
I pre adjusted the height before I fit them .... guessed what height
Once I had it all fitted the front has a 2” drop

I may adjust the rear slightly ...
but I quite like it (y)

I also fitted the flip top fuel filter ... the pipework is the next job31EB3F34-52CA-4BCB-871A-81E4EF2CDFEF.jpeg55190AEE-5E7E-4386-BCFA-919E61B9B3CA.jpeg2E8DF808-2CC9-41C7-8CCA-51DE93990BF4.jpeg

Looking good!

DLN1965 Don’t know if it’s part of the adjustment plans - it might be the camera angle - the rear wheel doesn’t look centred in the arch?

THANKYOU Andy
You are correct ...
At the moment the panels aren’t fitted properly in place.... had the rear clam off to do the filler cap, so it’s just resting almost in situ, the panel gaps are a little out too because of them not bolted in place

Just spent a hour or so lowering the rear end about 1”
I then noticed the left rear shocker had a R on the label ! Aaarrrgghhh. I thought so took off the shock and was undoing the other side when I noticed that had a R on the label too
Of course .... penny dropped when I realised R mean REAR not right !!!!

Lucky it was warm and dry outside today !!!!

A little job I managed to do ....
The fuel filler has been relocated and I had to cut off the original filler neck and extend it to the rear wing filler ....
How to cut a metal neck on aplastic fuel tank without it going BANG !!

Tin snips and a lot of patience !!
It’s not tidy ... but it’s under the wing !
Just awaiting a 50mm tube to connect TWO bits of pipework and job will be sorted !!
And all connections sealed properly

Afternoon everyone

Still no paint :( Covid delayed the spray shop ... Should be in by end of April !!
BUT it’s given me a bit more time to get things moving on....
Quite pleased with the progress so far

BUT ... quick question for you all

I put the AC logo on the bonnet, but I’m not convinced it looks right ??
On the boot it’s fine .. but not sure about the bonnet
Leave it blank ...
AC logo script (as per picture)
A round Cobra logo
Opinions please
