Still no paint Covid delayed the spray shop ... Should be in by end of April !!
BUT it’s given me a bit more time to get things moving on....
Quite pleased with the progress so far

BUT ... quick question for you all

I put the AC logo on the bonnet, but I’m not convinced it looks right ??
On the boot it’s fine .. but not sure about the bonnet
Leave it blank ...

Personally I would leave it off - it’s not an AC, enjoy it for what it is and don’t give smartarses the excuse to make a snide comment.

Do not, under any circumstances, put a cobra on the bonnet. Or anywhere else, for that matter. It’ll look so wrong and will completely bollocks what is starting to shape up as a really cool car.

Oh, and cover or remove the BMW badge on the steering wheel. As much as I’m a fan of BM, it’s about as appropriate as a pork chop in a mosque.

You are correct ... I have a replacement wooden steering wheel on the horizon !!

Apparently the actual average horsepower of a typical horse is 15hp

Ok it’s been a while .... just doing little jobs (bonnet release catches etc etc) nothing too exciting

But I actually got a message from the painters .... we have a tentative date for her to go in !!!
Wooo hooo !!!

Not saying what colour yet .. But IF it looks like I imagine ??? It should look good

strangely... as we took the dog for a walk today, we were driving to a local forest and the second car behind me was a royal blue Cobra (kit not original) with white stripes .... mmmmm
