The head scratcher: If it's classed as a major defect, how can that be an advisory when it could be an imminent failure? Twice??

It’s not excessive hence it’s an advise. Over 30% fluctuation between high and low spot would be excessive (major).

I think I mentioned an MOT I had done a couple of years ago where the tester had passed mine despite radial cracks from the vent holes. I fitted a new disc when I got home, I wasn’t going to trust it.

the mot cert, only the definition i.e..Major.

percentages are for the tester to determine if its good or bad, not for the general public as most of the numpties wouldn't understand anyway

But back to the point if its warped and you want the thing factor in the price of a new disc ant time to fit it in you negotiations for me its 100 quid off no argument

Get it bought and delivered then mate, I am missing my bikes and that would work a treat for me i'll even give you the hundred quid and make you a brew

No problem mate i would fix the disc first though if I were you, not sure Ogr1 can mange it with all those thumbs getting in the way
