Took a nice ride out in the sun :lick:yesterday to Matlock, did a little tour of the bikes as you do, lo and behold no Blackbirds, Hmmm.

What I did find was a load of scooters, taking up a significant number of parking spaces.

So much for the Matlock Mafia. they wern't there and they are letting Piaggio's take over.

Time for a name change fab fert.

In Matlock yesterday too. Harley rider lay on the kerb in a BAD way, bike squashed on the roadside and air ambulance waiting to land on the road.
The cops had to let a certain amount of traffic through to make room for the A/A to land and we passed, poor bastid didn't look at all good. His 'JEANS' were shredded and there was claret all over the place.

I was in MATLOCK twice on Sunday,, we stopped both times, i eyeball carded 2 BB's and passed 3 en route back into MATLOCK once i'd left GYPSY.
First visit was 13:00hrs and then 16:00 hrs...
I thought you were there as eveyone kept saying they could smell 'BULLSHIT'.

when will "bikers" learn that it ISN'T cool to ride in anything other than proper leather protection?

For what it's worth - it is a legal requirement in this country to wear a crash helmet in this country - so why don't the Government make it a legal mandatory requirement to wear protective clothing, boots and gloves - even on 'peds?

Quite right FB, why should the NHS pay for neglegent riders who KNOW the consequencies of an OFF whilst wearing jeans and cowboy boots..
If i thought it were safe to ride in jeans then i wouldn't spend a fortune on safety gear and look like the worlds fattest power ranger (appart from Ianrobbo1 and Gypsy that is).

There were no BB's when I was there, between those times obviously otherwise I would not have said it, and as you state they were there, then that must be the facts.

Already is against the law to commit suicide, i was told, you can get arrested and charged for wasting police time etc.


Anyways if somebody is going to commit suicide then fine let them do it, nobody loves them or wants them around, that upsets them, so let them go, tell them to feck off and stop be a feckin drama queen about the whole thing and just do it when there is nobody about to see it and to do it quietly cause nobody cares .
