How come you missed Via Gella out ? best twisty bit around derbyshire IMO

Jug and Glass at Newhave good place for a coffee/food


You could also pull in Cat and Fiddle. The guys/girls who want a wizz do the run the ones who dont drink Coffee/Tea etc


But tell me to F off m8 just my view on the route cause i want to do it lol

for you guys I live /ride around the Derbyshire/peaks area so its just my favourite roads and im poking my nose in and most of you guys have never meet me or the wife Rhino has at cat and fiddle 2 years ago or more when he had a bird

Hello again w;;v

I was thinking about Long Hill from 'Whaley Bridge - Buxton' its a good climb with some wicked bends, almost all under a bit of throttle R#?

Ya could come down the A515 to Buxton and pick up the Cat n Fiddle, down into Macclesfield and then out on the superb A5470 to Whaley Bridge, turn right onto on ethe best suited roads for the BIRD, the A5004 Long Hill back upto Buxton and then across to Castleton via the A6061 :yo:
Just a thought.
I think you'd polish the 90 miles off in no time, ths would put on an extra 25 or so.

Yeh just like that, but coming from Whaley Bridge towards Buxton UP Long Hill.

:bow: Long Hill from Whaley Bridge is very good...but Cat and Fiddle from Macclesfield UP to the top is even better....aint as much fun going down the Cat...

I will be coming along....probably tag on at Matlock..can't make it any earlier as I'm on night shifts this weekend :cry:
