Major instrument failure?

Its the third fuse in starting counting from the Right as you sit on the bike. Problem is it only blows after riding for a while

So who is going to step up and say what goes through that fuse - I haven't got a Haynes any more. I sold my Bird you know.

The book says for the 97/98 Carb

Fuse 1 - 20A - Headlight
Fuse 2 - 10A - Neutral,Oil, Tachometer, Speedo, Sidelight, Dash Lights, tail Light
Fuse 3 - 10A - Turn signal, brake light ( F&R ), passing
Fuse 4 - 10A - Ignition & Starter
Fuse 5 - 10A - Fan Motor
Fuse 6 - 10A - Clock

Its fuse 3, interestingly the indicators still work and the lights for them in the instrument cluster, now I am confused!

Are the fuses numbered 1 2 3 4 5 6 ?
If so then 3rd fuse from the right would be #4, surely?

Looks like no2 to me. Check to see if the rear light is working to confirm.

Well, sorted now
It turned out to be a short caused by my after market running lights built into the indicators. Wrapped in electrical tape where it was shorting. All now works as it should
