I'm sitting here watching it on TV, they just said Scotland Yard has confirmed that there has been 3/5 explosions on the underground, and a bomb has ripped the top off a bus!!!

been out this morning,just pulled up outside the house...and a neighbour tells me about several explosions in london,so get in house and turn on the TV

i've got a feeling all this has happened because/since london won the right to host the 2012 olympics...probably way off the mark though,and just coincidental.

Have got the live feed on me laptop at work. Met police have confirmed that there has been 6 "events" at Aldgate East, Edgeware Rd, Liverpool St, Kings Cross, Moorgate and Russell Sq/Tavistock Sq. There are now reports of a second explosion at Liverpool Street and the Army has now been deployed in several areas in London.
Mobile networks are crippled in London, absolute fecking nightmare to get hold of any one in there, my father and mother in law are both in London today. MIL in Bermondsey and FIL actually works in offices just to the right of Liverpool Street so at the moment I am slighty nervous of this at the moment.
The Met have just now also confirmed that there are 2 dead at Aldgate E, scores injured.
I'll post more when I can find out more.

Bubba........ the phones are all bogged up in London. You could use the Sky lifeline ticker-tape service........ Send a text to Sky with your in laws names and they can respond back to sky who display it on the tickertape at the bottom of the screen.

S'ok, have managed to get hold of them both. All is fine. FIL is still in his office at Liverpool Street, not been evac'd yet, all quiet around there apparently. MIL turned up in Surrey Quays shopping center. Nowt worth blowing up in SE London then?

Because they can.
My take is that there are so many immigrants in this country that are let in, that we probably have most of Al Quieda living in our country with all our services at their disposal, NHS, DHSS, Housing etc etc. Never hear much of this type of thing from New Zealand, because they don't let just anyone in.

Unfortunately those of us that think rationally could never understand the mentality behind these terrorists....be it the middle eastern or basque lot....they don't care who they hurt or kill. Unconfirmed reports of 45 fatalities, I have a feeling that this is even bigger than they are letting on, don't know if I am being cynical but I can't help feeling that they are suppressing most of the information, I hope I am wrong,
I think they need to put an immediate block on all Immigrants, this may seem like an over reaction, but we have to start somewhere then start a process of all Immigrants proving that they are who they claim to be if they can't prove it then boot them out.
