Helmet regs

It is based upon the rear 'track width' ie the distance measured between the rear wheels / width of axle that determines wether or not your to wear a lid.
It could be 2 ton but if it has '3' wheels its a trike and as such CAN be ridden on a motorcycle licence.
Myself i prefer '4' wheels and 12 volts.
