Yes, I would still wear a lid......cos I'm old and sensible. :blush: I've rented bikes abroad where there was no helmet laws......but I've still asked for a lid before taking the bike out.

Don't know about trikes on track days though, Andy..... I might do better on one of them than I did on the 'Bird !!!!! :}

I used to ride in the era when lids were not compulsary and apart from the slow ride up to the local shop I always wore my lid.

After hitting diesel and completely wearing away the rear of my Everoak GP on the tarmac I always will. The sound of the tarmac grinding through the fibreglass is one memory I wont ever forget.
Tarmac wearing through skull I imagine you would NOT be in a condition to remember, not even one as thick as mine before you say anything Stormy.

Trikes...... wouldnt have thought that they would be allowed out with solos too dangerous. If enough are interested then I'm sure some enterprising entreprenuer would book a track.

As a muppet you would not wear a bash hat but a bandana style thing that you think makes you look cool but in reality makes you look the muppet you are. c7u8

Trike

good looking AND modest
although not my first choice of transport if I were disabled and a trike were the "only" way I could get back in "T" saddle then Id go for it, "with" a lid, as for track days I would have thought they would have to go with four wheelers, :dunno:
