Big bore kit fitted. If it's a CAT 994H, why does it have 998 on the side?
Nope, it smells like a lawmaker who thinks about the next couple of years only and is busy lining their own pocket.
I don't know if there's any truth in this but I heard it somewhere a long time ago, before the likes of Shitbook existed so it wasn't Doris, that there are plenty of proper green alternatives to power cars but the oil majors buy the patents to stop them being produced. For how many years did we hear suggestions that the petrol companies were standing in the way of alternative fuels.
Didn't someone post that LPG was being banned?I ran a Volvo S80 with factory fitted LPG for five or six years…that was awesome, half the price of unleaded and I couldn’t notice any difference when switching between the two. I believe the Only thing that came out of the exhaust was water. No idea why LPG never really caught on. It is still half the price of unleaded, albeit 99.9P per litre.
I seem to recall that LPG vehicles weren't/aren't allowed on car ferries or the Chunnel?
Same should apply to electric cars.Just looked it up.
Car ferries only if it's a car manufacturers version, as in no aftermarket versions.
Chunnel is a complete no!
When I had the Volvo we had to drive a few miles to fill up but darn in the sarf east it was generally pretty easy to find a pump. As youmsaynyhenapp makes it,easy.I don’t know about banned, but LPG is getting increasingly difficult to obtain these days and many filling stations are getting the pumps removed. I have a filling point fitted to the motorhome to refill my 44 litre tanks, buying lpg this way rather than the typical Calor bottles is significantly cheaper - but you need to know where to get it, fortunately there are a couple of apps that can be used. Across the channel and it’s a bit easier - for now
