EV's are 90% efficient for 20% of the time.

ICE's are 20-30% efficient for 100% of the time.

I am sure the industry will be delighted to hear your thoughts on how to resolve the issues they are struggling with.
Actually Andrew, I did qualify that statement with "*someone much cleverer than me will need to expand on this."
In the meantime I am still wondering why you dragged a dead slug down your arm.
I did respond to your question of "why?" but you didn't reply. Anyhoo, for the umpteenth time, because I have a fragile ego and tiny penis.

My grandson went to Anfield last night in his father's i4. Which I do quite like. Or did. Its a tad over 200 miles from here but due to the pissing rain and having the air con running to demist it the car only made it with 20 miles to spare.

The issue was that when they pulled into the first services on the M6 to recharge so did everybody else. Took 2 hours to get on a charger to put in a 40 minute charge to get them home.

My mighty diesel will go 600 miles without refuelling so I would have been home with my feet up before they even got out of the services.

Explain to me how it makes sense because I can't see it.
My question is why the fuck would anyone want to go to Anfield?
Ask Beaker, he has plenty and will sell you a set of glossy A4 prints for the price of a mid-range EV.

Ok, I've just had a news article pop up on Apple News+ and it ranks the best EVs from top to bottom, 87 of them. Tests were based on cost, fun and real-world usability as well as range and charge time. Personally, on the basis of the reviews, I'd go for either the Tesla Model 3 or BMW iX.

For those of you that are not gullible or stupid enough to subscribe to Apple News+, ranked in order:

1. Porsche Taycan.
2. Tesla Model 3.
3. Kia EV6.
4. MG 4
5. BMW iX.
6. Hyundai Ioniq 5
7. Audi E-Tron GT
8. BMW i4.
9. Skoda Enyaq.
10. Genesis GV60

85.Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric
86. Peugeot Traveller.
87. Ssangyong Korando E-Motion.

He's young. He will realise the error of his ways as he gets older. The i4 should be able to handle a round trip to Twickenham without the need to recharge. Providing it's not dark or raining.
