I am so p-ssed off over the rider skills day being cancelled through lack of interest! :bang: :bang: :bang: We couldn't even raise forty members who are interested in using their bike a bit nearer to what it is capable of. Have I become a member of a Pan Euro site by accident? AAArrrggghhhhh! :bandit:

FECK OFF!!!

I'm sure we're not all solvent and have 75 quid + tyres+fuel+food to go blatting around a track playing........
I do however make the effort to donate articles to the Bash auction for a good cause and attend the Bash and various rideouts..
Who's gonna repair my BB when i get brought off by some turnip trying to be a hero..........YOU?...........i think not.

If i found myself flush and without financial commitment i may have gone,, just accept the fact that not everyone can afford to go and it's not that we don't wanna play.
If its track days your interested in sell your BB and buy a Duke or a GIXER!!

I'd probably love some more bike tuition, but I spent all my spare cash on a black visor. 8l1nd I'm working for myself now so can't take a day off working paid. :violin:

I was with you for your first two sentences but "attacking" your fellow blackbird members as heros is too much  On your last point I thought when I bought my bbird I was buying a SPORTS tourer and not a luggage carrier all the time. I know it is not everybody's thing and for some beyond their pocket at times, but I still can't believe we couldn't find forty out of so many supposed members. If I didn't have a bbird I would have a Blade. :neenaw: Perhaps I am over the top but I am just soooo disappointed.

Island

Looking at this thread there is a lot of people that understand you can never get enough training, I for one would love to get out with a good rider and learn how to handle my bike much better than i do at the min, living on a small island it makes it hard to get on good ride outs and the cost does come into it big time, just to get of the island you are ?30 down the midlands is then a 350 mile round trip with the track day and so on lots of money, so for around ?300 i could get a full day training 1 on 1 which i think would be of more benefit than a day around a track. If there is any  good riders  that would like a holiday on the island for a few hours lessons maybe we could come to some sort of deal

stan the man

you are not capable
personally.....

i would love to do a track errr rider developement day,but my pockets aren't
bottomless pits of money and i DO have to prioritise as to where it goes, and at this moment in time it's on getting the bird the way i want her.
plus, how much it would cost me to repair her should it go down the road.i know this may be a bit negative thinking and i have less chance of an "off" or
collision with other "traffic",but as rhino says there's always that numpty trying to be valentino rossi, and as allready stated,it was not to be a track day anyway.
rant over :neenaw:

About 20-25 active ones, about 100 less active ones through work committments etc. And about 1200 complete and utter wastes of space. And the zero poster are even less than a waste of space.

Too many pansies own Blackies as a recreational vehicle, and good luck to them I suppose.

The Blackie is the Gentlemens bike isn't it?

And does being a virtual Blackbird owner make you a virtual pansie as well :dunno:

Sorry M8 if the membership isn't there for your own exclusive purposes strangely enough some have lives of their own and their own set of priorities, sure you may be dissapointed, life is full of dissapointments live with it and move on, you can't hold it against other individuals if they don't share you set of priorities.

I have moved on so many times in 62 years your head would be dizzy. Try a Deauville. I think it would suit you better! :puke: :puke: :puke:

Have you ever thought that the waste of space members etc dont post because of your attitude and your few mates attitude, to everyone but your mates who share the same ideals in life as you do I.E. were right and know everything, and you know nothing and are a waste of space.
You do nothing but piss take and moan because no one else wanted to go playing racing with you. If you guys want to go on a track day there are plenty of opportunities out there, get out and do it on your own and leave the rest of us in peace for a while.
Pansies maybe, but not fools man8um

:} :} I've raced more unlikely candidates than Deauvilles in my day, you're barking up the wrong tree if you think I'm against track days, been there done that, got the battle scars to prove it. I put in a lot of track mileage between '78 and '95 and will likely see the track again when circumstances permit.

Track days don't appeal to everyone and I don't see how a lack of intrest in that aspect of riding can possibly diminish a riders worth in any way shape or form just means they are not interested so what.

The only inaccuracy is that I DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS. So we should get on okay

Lumpy, if the above statements true, why dont you get in touch with REefer, quickley before his "tenner" runs out, and you could be bestist pals and have all the fun you can, till his tenner runs out, :dunno:

I hope that helps,

Some of us

spend a lot of time on this site listening to people research, plan and finally fit a GEL SEAT for God's sake. Then they check the weather forecast, their satnav ,back up and help available should it rain before finally deciding not to risk it. :puke: If we can listen to all that surely it is not too much to ask them to be a bit sympathetic when those of us who actually ride our bbirds suffer a disappointment! Nobody is trying to force anyone to actually learn what a good job Mr Honda  did with the blackbird. Remember. Just because you are breathing does not mean you are alive. :t
