Basic differences are:

Different suspension
Ram air ( even though its a carby one )
1200 with Wiseco pistons
Colour scheme
Plate with the V & M number on it

There are other differences but that's the basics

I am sure there is a register somewhere but have no idea who what where it is

Noobie, you should have used the 12 hours more wisely. I'm making the assumption that you object to the word "little." You may want to check with Google, but my understanding is that Noob is the alternative word for prick, as this is what you call yourself, I'm sure you don't take it as an insult. Its fair then, that I apologise for calling you a "little prick" I hope that's ok. Prick! :-0) I hope we can we be friends now Mr Clark?

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

First sensible thing I have seen on this site for a long time.:bow::bow:

Wouldn't it be better to just buy a ZZR1400? Faster, better handling, brakes, etc.

Probably not faster as stock, and I doubt it would handle better.
Breaks maybe? But who needs them?

Clueless in most things
A few of us have had birds and zzr1400's and most of those who have, tend to end up going back to birds.

I think if you are a bird owner you can look at the zz and ask why haven't Honda done a similar project for the Blackbird?

The zz is faster, better handling and has better brakes but it is not a better complete bike nor is better in the quality of the older Honda's and the bird in particular.

I would have another zz but my ownership would be short term, I would have anothet bird but if I do it's more likely to be a long term bike as it reaches my needs in more areas as a complete bike. just as a mention, Brietling make a model called he "Blackbird" and I don't see many watches called the zzr1400 8rfl@

As to the V & M I'd love one but it's in the gay colour:-0)

You could buy 9 of my Birds for that money. Mine's got a carbon mudguard too g0551p

I've got a Scottoiler, VFR bars, and some other stuff... so mine should actually be worth more than that one.bl4hbl4h

My point exactly,
It's only got 1100 miles, so every mile I do would be devaluing it.
How many of us get anywhere near the full potential of the standard 'bird
Did Honda really sanction them.
Is it more beautiful to look at than a standard BB
Chances are its temperamental, not the criteria for buying a Honda

So, it'd be a bike that I'd ride very rarely, then the only bit that was really accelerating would be its drop in value. Parked up in my garage it would look just the same as my ?3k BB, but would more than likely cost me more in repairs. So what would it's real value to me be? Bragging rights in the pub, the only problem with that is, one of the regulars is awaiting trial for the Easter Holiday, Hatton Garden heist, so a ?9k Honda is hardly going to get a lot of attention.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but he that be holds it now no longer finds it beautiful, so it's on eBay.
I'll get my coat h1d1ng2

I maybe mistaken, but I feel I have seen that V&M in this forum and it's owned by someone in here ?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here been on one? Was it much different to the standard one?

"...LTD Addition"? What's it been added too?

Also, I thought there were more than 25 made, too :dunno:

I think enough bits were made for 50 but only 25 were built & sold.

Hmmmm. I thought there was 50. I also have it in my head Rob on here has one and it's number 37 or something? :dunno: I'm sure he and/or John will be along to enlighten us shortly.
