I am lucky that I have a mum who has lived with depression all of her married life with my father. Although she does not know first hand, she understands. She has been like a rock, someone to talk through everything, she doesn't judge me but takes me as I am however I feel. Though yes, you are right, I have had many knocks through life like all of us, and I do believe that for every knock if you can learn from it and rise above it, it makes you a stronger person.
