i think you may have all ya pipes mixed up

the bigger one is the over flow

the smaller one is a vent

its coming out the smaller one which has a t section & splits into 3 but only comes out of one of them, there is quite an amount comes out not just dripping more like a small run if that makes sense

thats ya problem that pipe normally just comes out and hangs down to the road

what else connects to it on there T's as it sounds like it on the vac pipe line and the diaphragm is split

I've just had a look And from what i can see with it being dark it just looks like the pipe from the tank splits 3 ways with one on left hand side one right & one goes to rear, ill check again 1st thing in the morning

Looking at the pic the tank is still on which is going to make following the pipes difficult.
2mins to wip the tank off.

While its off check the diaphram. (think you can do this with the tap closed)

Sort out the breather and overflow, then check the vac pipe.

When I got mine the vac pipe had a T in it with one side to atmosphere (open). Which I think is to prevent too much suck on the diaphram which may cause them to split, but popular belief on here is the T shouldn't be there.

Had a quick look it seems to be a waste of time, I'm sure it's there for a reason (t piece) but I can't see why it needs to be split 3 ways, gonna try & get the diaphragm from somewhere & replace regardless & see what happens if I remove the t piece & just have one pipe running to bottom of bike. Sure it can't make the bike run any different

if an open end goes into to the atmosphere it no becomes a vacuum pipe.

vacuum pipe from tank should go to number 3 pot and nowhere else, its a one piece pipe UNLESS a t piece has been put it to run a scotoiler from. Now if said scotiler has been removed then the t can come out or be sealed up.

the overflow pipe is for just that , when you overfill the tank, pop the cap and see the hole on the inner edge.

Now I'm well lost as that pic that has the ring round it am I right in saying you have fuel coming out of it or the pipe that goes on to it has the fuel coming out of it

:dunno:

I keep them in stock.. Drop me a mail ( straightfour@aol.com )

Deg5y, the T piece is left over from someone fitting a scottoiler mate.. It should NOT be there !!

Lord only knows who suggested it is to protect the diaphragm .. sounds like someone is having you on !!!!

Its OK, its OK, :-0) I have already allowed myself to be swayed by the judgement of the forum and I removed my little tee piece along time ago.
But mine WAS running perfectly with the tee piece in and the branch tube open ended!

Yes m8 fuel coming out of the pipe attached to that, it has a steady drip when engine is running, but runs out when throttle is open

i think im right in saying the pipe from that pipe on the take should just run down in between the frame and swing are and be free to the air

then the vac pipe off cab 3 should go on the the back of the tap with no T's
in it inless you have an oiler for the chine fitted

so sound like the tap is U/S and is passing fuel and to get round this some one has just put the pipe on the take to save the fuel
