How do they know it is a one in a billion chance..?
They missed, ya gobshite. How do they know it is a one in a billion chance..?
What happened the other 999,999,999 times..?
Admit it. You don't know, do ya. Posting unsubstantiated facts without doing your research. That sort of rumour mongering leads to all sorts of trouble. They missed, ya gobshite.
(and I'm logging out - not reading any more horseshit from you)
I was considering the ‘one in a billion’ claim earlier.Admit it. You don't know, do ya. Posting unsubstantiated facts without doing your research. That sort of rumour mongering leads to all sorts of trouble.
For a start..... why did the bullets meet at right angles, eh..? If they were shooting at each other then they should be joined point to point.
So now we're looking at an unknown gunman located off to the side of the battlefield.
Jeez, it's like the JFK assassination all over again.
Now there will be endless conspiracy theories that it was the mafia, the Cubans, the CIA, the Russians
Internet "experts" will expound their theories for years to come about the angle of the bullets, the so called "magic bullet" theory and whether there was more than one shooter.
People will write books, film documentaries, TV series, create websites, people will debate it for years in online forums.... all on this one story. There'll probably even be a computer game.
All because you didn't check your facts.
You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
SQUAG...!!! See what you've started..????I was considering the ‘one in a billion’ claim earlier.
it has to be much, much higher than a billion.
if nothing else there are around six billion (??) people on the planet. How many of them are firing any weapon at one time let alone weapons that fire the same ammunition as that in the picture?
Additionally the number of spaces available for collision are bordering on infinitesimal. I can’t do the math but multiplying the height a bullet can reach by the circumference of that height by the circumference of the planet by the surface area of both is going to be a massive, incalculable number. And that is before factoring in variables such as weather, air pressure, the height the bullets were discharged from and, vitally, any anomalies in the weight and manufacture of the ammunition.
Squag1 needs to be more diligent in fact checking before posting.
It is a very cool picture though.

You can quite easily and cleanly penetrate 10 mm boiler plate with 7.62/308win ball ammo non armour piercing
We'll, at least you admit it.See, I was right, horseshit
How do you know this??You can quite easily and cleanly penetrate 10 mm boiler plate with 7.62/308win ball ammo non armour piercing
Don’t ask how I know this
You're just encouraging him.You can quite easily and cleanly penetrate 10 mm boiler plate with 7.62/308win ball ammo non armour piercing

I want to know now. I struggle to drill a hole with even decent drill bits. You can quite easily and cleanly penetrate 10 mm boiler plate with 7.62/308win ball ammo non armour piercing

Well seeing it’s you Simon. Back in the eighties when me and Neil (Dillon), were in the national squad I had some ipsc size item targets made for me by my late brother in law They were plasma cut from 10mm boiler plate and kept with their stands at the range with the understanding that anyone could use them as long as it was with lead projectiles which would fragment on impact and negated the need to go back and forth all the time scoring.I want to know now. I struggle to drill a hole with even decent drill bits.
