Filey to Kent, on a CBF600s

Am getting a CBF600s from Filey in Yorkshire on Saturday (Well its for Floozy actually) and will be riding it home via (I think) the A614 then M62, M18, A1M, A14, M11 etc, I know the cameras on the A14, but are there any places on the A1 that i need to be aware of?

Costing me ?80 for the feckin train fare, for that price I hope I get a go at driving the bloody train!!!

Have you got a child you can take with you? We usually save cash buying with a family rail card, even including the price of the card!

There are some statics North and South on the A1 in Notts between the A57 roundabout to Worksop and the A57 turnoff to Lincoln. It's a 50 limit and I think this is where that ambulanceman got nicked delivering the donated organ.

There are a number ofmobile camera locations on the A614 although there are plenty of warning signs up to let you know. One is in the layby just after you come down the hill past Karelia Cars at Market Weighton.

Between Grantham & Stamford you have 2 cameras only, 1 of thos is currently out of action, The one that is active is just south of Grantham over the brow of the hill before Great Ponton, you should then be clear as far as the A47 Wansford junction

The ones that Steve is talking about are at Gamston. Two fixed Gatso's. I forgot about em the other night and the truck was on the limiter but they didnt flash. I think they have a high tolerance setting. Just as you come out of the 50 zone there is a 24/7 cafe in the first lay-by south bound. Excellent food, very clean and loads of bike Road/race pics on the wall. After that you will encounter the road works at Newark, Single lane 40mph. No fixed cameras but mobile units known to operate at weekends. Sent ya a pm cods.

Coddy, check the weather forecast before you set off, just checked with metcheck and these parts are in for torrential rain from midday right through to about 9pm.
