Whoa there - has it been running since you did the loom fix or is this when the problems started?

Talk us through what happened with the rear indicators in detail - the more info posted the more chance of someone coming up with the answer.

Don't give up on it mate, there will be an answer - there always issh1tehppns

Question for everyone - does the FI turn over if the sidestand circuit is duff? Yes if it is in neutral. Ditto re tilt switch.

ok here we go day one wen out on the bike no probs running well ..went shopping cane out of the shop the bike will not start but will turn over just ..so push start no light on got me home .. put a meter on the battery ,,flat .. got the bike running put meter on battery ,,not charging ,, on the phone to jaws and ordered a new stator .. put that stator on still not charging back on the phone ordered a new rec/reg .. while waiting for that i look at the loom fix .. rec/reg turned up so put that on and hit the go button and it came to life and charging 14.6 v at 2000 rpm and the f1 light is out happy days so put it all back together .... then i run through the lights to make sure they are ok got to the right hand side indicator and it blew the fuse so i put a new one in and it went pop.. so striped it all down just in case i had trapped a wire just to find the indicator wire has come out of the indicator and was shorting .. so sorted that and now the bike will not run .. it will turn over // if i put the side stand down it will not turn over and the same if i flick the on /of switch ........it has had 2 lots of new fuse 30 amp 20 amp 10 amps plus the f1 light is on all the time and dose not go off wen i turn the bike over

when you say you looked at the loom fix did you take the plug off or cut any of the wires

Will it turn over with the side stand down if you pull the clutch in?

yep cut the plug off 3 groups 3 and one lot of ten wen the side stand is down it will not turn over wen i put it back up i will turn over if i turn the run switch off i will not turn over if it is on then it will turn over

Will it turn over with the side stand down AND the clutch pulled in, T2?

wen the side stand is down and in neutral the bike will turn over if i put it in 1 st gear it will not turn over until i pull the clutch in then it will turn the f1 light is on all the time

That is as it should be.

Has the bike run since you did the loomfix?

Julian, just make sure the ECU plug(s) are fully home.
Given you have been having problem in that general area it is something worth checking.

As the fuel pump is not priming there are a few possibles

1) As mentioned, ECU partially unplugged

2) Is the plug still attached to to the petrol pump ( amazing how many call outs I have been to and just found the ruddy pump unplugged )

3) The tilt switch thinks it has been tilted .. That is an easy one to check. Take a large screwdriver and with the handle end, give it a few wacks !

i will go and try that now if it is the one that is on the same line as the relays as i have moved all of them to make sure the wire blacks are home on the relays ofter pulling the loom out to do the fix

yes it run as sweet as a nut it fire up first time[[charging at 14.6v it only stop running wen i put it all back together and shorted the back indicator

Tilt switch is not a big box, T2. Did you tap the tilt switch as Jaws suggested?

I don't have a Bbird now to go look but if I remember it is under the seat on the LHS. About 2" by about 1" I think.

it is ok i now have a book of words for the black bird and i still have no clue what as happened so now looking for a new or second hand wire loom as the book is saying .. open circuit to the engine stop switch ground wire ...faulty ecm ..engine stop relay this is all two much for me but thank any way for the info
