Didn't think his original comment (apart from the Chav bit) was so far out of order but could've started with a "Bad luck Chuff" type of thing before the rest. Guys, I feel I must post this to say that it most certainly was not my intention to play any part in forcing a member off this site. I felt that Dufus did come on strong, not only in this post (where I do believe that his initial intentions were mis-interpreted), but with the nature of his comments on previous threads also. I only tried to explain to him that he should take a step back, until he was known by (and knew) a few more members. It was his interpretation that 'only older members mattered' that I challenged. I take no satisfaction in knowing he probably will not visit this forum again. He has made some very relevant and helpful posts in the past, and if he should decide to return (but hopefully not quite so head on), I for one would welcome him back, and have PM'd him to say so.

the paint work looks a LOT better in the picture than close up, but it was a bodge job to get me back on the road ,

I might even get a proper job done over winter, even our lass likes it
