:bang:......................................................:bang:

Long story short,

Came back to the blade today and it wasnt where i left it,

it was about a foot to the left, lying on its side

Side stand had sank into the tarmec til the old girl toppled over

Didnt look to bad when i stood her up, Screen has cracked, mirror, indicator, bar end and LEft foot peg and mounting all bent or fcuked

However now I have got the old girl home ( techie issues will be posted later, she aint riding good ) the mounting lugs on the top fairing, side fairing and let hand seat unit are all fcuked snapped / cracked too.

stripped her down fully, removed all the blue panels, and stuck on the spare multi coloured mix and match set

Oh well, she is back in a rideable state now, and who cares what she lloks liek h1d1ng2

Unlucky Chuff. It's difficult to believe sometimes how much damage a no-speed-plop-onto-its-side-type-of-fall can create.

Still, look on the bright side; it could've been a fast blue 'Bird.

Hope you get it sorted without too much wallet pain.

its back on the road, thats the main thing,

albeit a wreck to look at, but its a right mix and match set of complete fairings that i was going to get painted up anyway :yo:

Bad news chuff, I've only ever had that happened to me once, it was in chelmsford Prison car park & it was a CZ175 [no don't laugh] fortunately it didn't topple right the way over as the car in the next bay prevented it the car owner wasn't too happy & it caused quite a bit of bad feeling between us, raises the question of reponsibility, the insurance company didn't want to know as they said it was a matter for us to take up with the owners of the car park

no insurance getting involved, and it was on private property, so no claim against the council or similar an option.:bang:

EVen though it's a "bitsa" coloured bike at the moment, you've still managed to hang half a tonne of scaffolding off the back!!

At least she's back on the road and you can get around, that's all that matters. Paintwork can wait until the winter when you're stuck in the cage again!
