Nope I mean UTC - the time previously known as GMT.
GMT only now exists in the minds of the UK poulation as a folorn hope to somehow make us feel we still matter.
Some years ago the UK agreed to give up the responsibility of maintaining the international time measure (think it saved the Govt. of the time ?0.50p per year).
The UK had maintained this for many years hence the GMT for Greenwich Mean Time.
The French took this task over (as they have done with many of the international standard measures) and it was renamed UTC (think it means Universal Time Control - but in French).

Zulu time is used by those trying to appear mysterious and knowing - as far as I know the Zulus did not originally use the same measure of time.

As I recall Zulu time was the same as GMT, I still refer to it as Zulu time as it's quicker than saying Greenwich mean time,

Just got my bike through its MOT... Front wheel bearings shot/ Lh spacer on wheel spindle missing/ rear brake light switch not connecting before brake comes on... Easy fix.. Just charged for the MOT... Bugger, got me worried for a bit...

The UK is currently GMT +1 HR
ZULU is phonetic for the letter Z (We all knew that)
although GMT has been replaced it is still Universally accepted, and in the whole is used far more than;
UTC Universal Time Coordinate

Ok I know its a bit late in the day.But me and the mrs was thinking of maybe coming along to the esob.As we are new to the site we thought it would be a good way of meeting fellow bb riders and getting to know you all. If its still possible to tag along at such short notice we would like to camp if poss.Thanks
