Fair enough. So I booked a room in the Hermitage Hotel next door for the Saturday. Should be there from 1pm onwards, be good to meet you all.

So, add Ray + Sophie to the list. Yay!

Actually I'm not averse to pitching a tent, just felt like a warm bed as I anticipate some aches and pains from riding the 'bird. And, yes, I am *that* unfit, lol.

It would be better for you to find out where the ride out route is going, if the ride from Manchester to Leiceter is gonna cripple you the ride out will murder you.

Guess I should also ask at what level you're pitching the ride-out? I'm still getting used to the bike (300 miles since Monday, mostly at night) so I don't want to put me or my pillion at risk by riding outside my limits. I mention it not because I'm a crap rider, but because group riding is also the most risky, statistically speaking.
