Ok - its not particularly north, but it does sound good fun!!

The Victoria Bikers and Live Music Pub
Coalville
Leicestershire

http://www.vicbikerpub.co.uk/location.htm

I asked about camping and caravans for the 28/29th Sept, and the response was -

yes no probs friday bands is 4 originals free adm -- sat bands 8 ball joe (covers) adm ?2.50 - camping 2.50 per person per night inc caravan, usually one person in the club collects the money in for us and we give u a wrist band, ,cheers john

So, what do you think? Two bands, ?5 for camping and ?2.50 for the second band? Sum total of ?7 each for the groundspace and entertainment!!

For the non campers, - http://www.vicbikerpub.co.uk/accom.htm

Let me know and I'll find out about booking spaces etc!

(PS - thanx DK for the link! :k)

There's an outside chance we'll make this after all. The Holland rally is a week later this year!

That would mean Kettering this weekend, Sheefest next weekend, a weekend off, the Ogri Rally on August bank holiday weekend, the Bluegrass festival at Kemble the following weekend, then a free weekend, then my birthday party, another free weekend, then the SOSB, then the Dutch Rally. Whew! 3 weekends free between now and the second week in October.

Lets see how the aged one keeps up, and how the funds go.

Damn, my lawn's gonna suffer, I think. It hasn't been cut for 2 weeks now!

great venue or fun guys, but when Gypo sorted last year, camping was very limited , you have to camp on the grass verge in the carpark area...see the pics from the year before lasts bash, that is literally all the space there is for your tents, no toilets over night, you have to wait for the landlord to open up in the moring for a wash/p*** etc.there were no showers last year....but there is an outside tap in the carpark for water...................apart from, a very welcoming venue and some great music......

They used to allow camping in the small garden at the back as well .... the only reason we couldn't do that the year before last was there was a marquee up so no room.............

at the moment, no rideout organised. I'm not planning to organise one as I don't know the area at all!!! but if someone else would like to that would be great h1d1ng2 . but even with no rideout, I'm hoping a meet/drink/eat/good music weekend is still good??
