In-field viewing
I'm going on sunday and can't decide where to go either. will either be in field near spitfire or at hair pin at bottom of Craner curves. Don't know why I'm going cause viewing is crap and so are facilities, but you just have to don't you?

No way - I'll be sitting in the garden listening to them - whilst watching the FULL race on TV [live 5 miles from the circuit and can still hear the air horns!!]
In actual fact I won't doing either as I'm emigrating oooop North to do the Cloggers Ride Out

Well you consider we only paid ?25 [equiv] in Assen for the same series - are D Park really taking the pi$$?
Work out approx 80K people there [accept that some are on freebies but they still have to be bought pre-season]
PLUS rental from trade stands
PLUS fees for hospitality
PLUS TV Rights
EQUALS an awful lot of wonga for 2-4-sports who now own the track
and you thought football was all about money???????????

Dont forget FB they are going to want the best part of a tenner for a programme as well :bang:
There are six races which wont finish until probably 6.30.. then fight your way out of the circuit.. say 8pm and a 4 hour ride home for me. If the other half wants to go as well I'd be looking at the best part of ?150!!!!!! to stand all day with a load of air horn wielding twats.
Right thats it made my mind up I'm watching it on the box :-:
