Just curious, Darren.

I sent TT an email with a copy to Speedfreak and neither got it. Normally there would be a daemon failure if undelivered but everything seemed ok. :dunno:

Cheers Dnl1965 and Bill. @tu*

Security torx bit bought, cover off the Dataool 3 box and now disarmed and box fekkin removed. Only cut one fingertip when hacksawing through the fekkin box and yanking on all the black silicone that the original cuntard of an alarm fitter, who I incidentally, wish a long and lingering death by sprout consumption, squirted around both connection blocks when fitting in the first place.

Bike now Datatool 3 free. Wonderful. @tu*

Yes I have
Won't put details on here tho !

Removal is best ... And long term that is my plan !

But if you can open the black box with security torn screwdriver ...
You are 1/4 way there

Read thru this and there are links ....
If you really are stuck and if you are genuine I can send info (only 3 posts ?? A bit new !!)
Or if your local I can help ??

Im not too confident with electrickery so I thought bridging wires within the unit would be best. Also I would loose what little reduction in my insurance premium having an alarm brings. Sadly im in bristol so not local

Bridging wires is very easy

Think there is a link somewhere on this post

Pity your too far away for me to help

But if you find the box and are ok to open it up with security torx bits .....
You really are 1/2 way there
Wouldn't want to post full details on here for obvious reasons ......

the phrase " for obvious reasons" is a little redundant considering what the search phrase "bypass datatool 3 alarm" in Google returns w;;v

True Mikey.

Any scrote would be able to remove it but it is easier to just pick the bike up and put it in a van. :bang:

This is true but I would trust info from here a lot more. The first search result uses a bridging technique. If anyone has experience with this method(as opposed to totally removing the alarm) I would be greatfull.

Bridged an alarm on my Busa, no further problems. Simple job. Would add that before removal, alarm caused non-starting issues and random weirdness, as well as rapid battery discharge
