Camera phone, Sheffield Park lunchtime today, five minutes after the sun went in and ten minutes before it started peeing down.

Well, worth a visit if you are in the area, particularly during late spring /early summer when the azaleas are in flower.

The redwood has been struck by lightning since we were last there.

Just in case anyone is remotely interested, my picture above was just on iPhone 7plus and not DSLR.

In many cases probably very true. No need to duck away, there are plenty of YouTube videos showing exactly how versatile the iPhone can be, the best being the 13 ProMax and the newest version the 14 not as good despite a supposedly better max. 48mp

My late friend left me all her camera equipment, a Canon EOS 2000d DSLR with a couple of lenses and an old Nikon F401s 35mm with a selection of lenses and filters.

The Nikon needs repairing as the latch on the film door has snapped. It'll probably cost more to repair than it's worth, but that's not the point.

Once I've had my ticker sorted later this month & can walk a bit further than the bottom of the drive, I'll have to get out & about with the Canon.

Meanwhile a photo taken with my Samsung Galaxy A41 last summer.

I like the idea of getting out and about along with a camera, as if you have an idea of a subject to ‘focus’ on it will make you get out.

The Canon is allegedly 24 megapixels which is quite high for a budget camera. Should be more than capable.

Aaah, Ilfracombe harbour, only been living in Barnstaple for 72 years and diving out of here for 25 and never noticed the elephant in the headland untill my lady friend pointed it out, talk about not seeing the wood for the trees .
