Well

I enjoyed riding the Ducati Multistrada 1000ds.

I can just imagine Carol and me swinging (no, don't go there) our way through Alpine bends on clear sunny days,
up boulder strewn paths to the snowline, etc. You get the picture.

But then I think of the times sitting by a dead bike in a rainy, motorway layby, waiting for the AA and ?350 1st service and the ?520 2nd service!

Or, I quite fancy a new Beta Alp 4.0. Ido like a spot of green laning and the lower seat height of the Alp compared to the usual enduro type bike would mean that I could still father children in the future.

Completely different. Nothing like it really, so many light years away it is nothing like the FJ. You can stll buy low mileage FJ's that people have cherished but why when modern machinery is so much better in the handling department. That aside I would LOVE a CBX1000Z in Candy Red.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm few hundred quid to sort the handling---any bike is only as good as the fella on it ------thats why im after a bird, for me its the closest to the old fj----will do anything- top of its class.
