I got to Chadbury, then could not suss out the Pig one, dunno maybe I got the wrong end of the stick, but how far from the last clue is it to the next, max distance.

3 maps and an ex trucker, and I finished equal last with you Supa.



Cant wait till the next one, I will still be waiting for AOhell to download the bloody map by the time you buggers have finished the Rally :cry:

I used...

... the AA 2004 (which I bought last year) Big Road Atlas, 3 miles to the inch. It's the one you see in the motorway service stations.

All the places were in there...

There's been some discussion on what maps show the place names people were looking for, and the point I was making was that this map did have them all...

... I didn't win 'cos I wasn't quick enough, not 'cos the mapbook was inadequate

We got as far as Stonehall

with a 1986 roadmap, local knowledge and a complaint to Jaws (ie what has 'Marl' (a grey clay, as in Marl Pit) got to do with weddings?????) Iffy clues or what. Pensham wasn't on the road map but was on Multimap.

Got Rainbow Hill although it wasn't on our map or Multimap; came back refreshed next day with a brand new 2004 AA Road Map - and wasn't invited to take part in Stage II of the rally!

May one suggest to future participants that they do NOT complain about the clues (however iffy they happen to be) for fear of disqualification - or did we simply fail scrutineering as there was no valid Tax Disc on the bike at the time?

We're now bostin for a piddle anywhere (Wyre, Middle or Lower!)

Wasn't me mate its her I didn't even look at the maps I just told her where the places were when she was reading the clues out then she couln't find them!!!

I was trying to watch two wheels on M & M.

I didn't make that post last night either that was herself!
