Right, boiler front off, identified blow off valve, drained water, can't see the small blue tap to drain off excess into bowl? Got some X100, through which point do I add it? :dunno:
Found the tap now, black on mine, sneaky bar stewards! Just the X100 question, where or thru which point to add it?

Thanks, just turned on the boiler and it's leaking from the relief valve, guess I haven't seated it properly.

Now seated and all seems okay, no leaks and boiler is running. Just got to watch the pressure now, fingers crossed.

It's coming down after the initial rush of excitement when it leaked...a lot. If all is well by tomorrow with the boiler pressure, then mine will back to normal :-0)
Thanks @tu*

An update for you Andy. Over the weekend since I fitted the new PRV ours has behaved itself and held pressure.
A huge thanks, mainly to Robsbird  but to all who contributed @tu*.
You saved me ripping up the flooring needlessly h1d1ng2
If you think this is a boring thread.....try a leak or look elsewhere man8um

Great stuff, well chuffed for you. And I add my thanks to the two plumbers on here@tu*@tu* who are a never ending source of good advice for us enthusiastic amateurs who are keen to learn new stuff rather than call the experts in unnecessarily..

Jono, can I suggest weekly updates to start, we can see how it goes and then maybe move to monthly updates.

I am having anextension built shortly with an en suite and hopefully underfloor heating. Should be good thread material. ;-0))

Wast of time and money doing wet under floor heating inless the rest of the house has it or you fit a second boiler to run just the under floor
