I have no doubt London is high on the target list. In my working life I can think of at least four terrorist attacks that have not been a million miles away from affecting me but staying away from the obvious danger zone is giving in. If nothing else that would be selling out the 99.99999% of Muslims that abhor what is going on. I know this as I am privileged to work and live in the community that we share with them.

It's all well and good saying that the vast majority of Muslims abhor the terrorist atrocities committed by their so-called brothers, but have you noticed how many come out and openly condemn them? Their silence is as deafening as it is disconcerting.

1 Imams use sharia law to advise in family disputes much the same as the local catholic priests have used the Bible when helping families with problems. Much of Sharia Law is just common sense.

3 Claptrap. Some English visitors in Wales make the same ridiculous claim. People use their native language for much the same reason you use English.
4 I have lived a lot of my life among Muslims and have never, ever, even been encouraged to convert even though I was a fluent Arabic speaker and well versed in their customs. Muslims respect Christians as "People of the Book"

I think he means they used to have 4 a week, terrorist scares or attacks.
At least the IRA usually gave warnings when targeting civilian targets, unlike the modern isis deployed terrorists, who are only intent on taking as many civilian lives as possible.

Bill, how often do you get anti terrorist training? Do you know how to spot an isis supporter on the street? The Muslims on the street are not trying to convert people they are recruiting.
I am not talking about Imams & their teachings I am talking about young & middle aged Muslims on the streets of Britain attacking white Westerners for their Christianity or for the clothes they wear.
I fear you are out of touch with modern day Muslims, my wife is probably the most tolerant & least racist person I know but she works with Muslims & make no mistake they regard us as many classes beneath them.

you are from The Wirral. So am I right in assuming you wear a brightly coloured nylon tracksuit and steal cars while scrounging benefits? Or would that be stereotyping?

Personally I disagree with pretty much everything you have to say on the race/religion subject and that is ok ( up to a point) even if I don't like it. I don't have to like it, I can choose not to read it if I want.

I appear to have a different perspective to you - which you are perfectly entitled not to like - maybe the result of living and working in a city that has a well established multi cultural society. I am not saying it is perfect, it has it's problems. But what I am saying is that the huge majority get along with each other and it is absolutely the case that the overwhelming majority, regardless of race, colour or religion, are against any form of terrorism, regardless of the source or cause.

There are terrorists that claim to be representing Muslims. That does not make all Muslims bad people. Let alone terrorists.

I have no idea how to solve this mess. More innocent blood is going to be spilt and it seems likely that this is going to get even worse before it starts getting better. Closing borders is a knee jerk reaction that won't stop anything and is likely to cause more problems in the long run. What I know will make the problem worse is alienating the vast majority of Muslims by bracketing them all as potential terrorists.
