As some of you may or may not know, we're having a banner made up for the FACE2008 event.

The banner which will be 2 1/2' x 10' will carry the event name through the middle with all corperate names & logo's around the outside, ie all buisness's who have contributed to the event, cash or goodies.

So if any of you have any sponsors who should be included on the banner please email me their company logo no later than the end of April

Many thanks, and dont forget it's not too late to contribute on the sponsor site.

That said, I am getting a message on my GPS (having uploaded the mapset and route) "Route truncated. Does not match maps available". Any ideas?

if you are starting from Thetford rugby club, could Jaws not sort some local press involvement prior to the start, inviting the local community to provide additional sponsorship.

it seems never a week goes past without our local paper having a group of people trekking off hither thither and yon for charity, and I think they get a bit of additional funding that way

just a thought:dunno:

ive have already got this in mind, asfter talking to lizzy at cancer research, she as said (due to past experiance) the we are better waiting till nearer the time to contact the press, as we dont want a big thing about it now and then peeps forget when the event takes place.
Trouble is how close to the date do we get before we contact the press.
I was thinking this week/ next week as we only have about 4 weeks left.
i have been in touch with MCN and had a reply from the contact i have, she has passed the details on to the website people and asked them to do something and the paper side, asked them to put an artical in the paper, will wait and see what they do.
Does anyone know of the local papers around thetford?
