Good morning, well I've not posted on here for the last24 hours giving the thread chance to die. I see that you have tried to kill it with the Romans, as well John. Clearly others still have strong opinions on the subject, and are not ready for it to die.
Pow Lo, Islam and Muslims, suffer more than any other from these "Hate Extremist." Muslims are speaking out, this weekend they have spoken out load and clear. The terrorist say that they're fighting for Islam, then they shot a Muslim police woman in the back, they calmly execute a wound Muslim policeman, they blow up a Muslim school, I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point. These "Hate Warriors" have, (and I say it again) nothing to do with Islam. All that good Muslims need to say is "not in my name" and they are saying that. We are all their targets irrespective of race, colour or creed. It we divide ourselves on any other lines, than humans or good citizens, then they win.

You are shouting the same stuff over and over again at people who basically agree with what you say.. I applaud your commitment and feel very much as you do ( at least I did ) but.........................

Cool down John, if I've miss quoted you then apologies. To be honest I didn't put that much importance to the Roman stuff, as I saw it as a cool way of winding down a thread.
To you other point that I'm flogging my point. You'll find that I'm responding to posts. As DK says, what we discuss on here don't really change things, but we all have our views and sometimes strong opinions, so what better than to express them here. We're not threatening or hurting anyone. More importantly, I don't mind being the only one that's right:-0)
Seriously, this subject gets more hits and post than nearly any other, each time it comes up. We all have the option click, and I know for sure, you and I qualify (if no one else) to being old enough and ugly enough, to know how to use it. (Well you're better qualified than me). So let's not get our knickers in a twist, we're all essentially on the same side.

I knew a guy, who is a Muslim, who was always joining in with jokes, including jokes about Christianity, and I can remember someone challenging him about one such joke. His reply was something like "I don't believe in Christianity, so to me it's not real, so I can joke about it all I want."

Well, I don't believe in the Koran, so why can't I follow the same reasoning?

And yes, he did get VERY upset when any jokes were about his religion.
