Hein Gerike were selling all the returns and crap they couldn't shift in their shops. Bit disappointing really. I saw a pair of Gortex trousers for forty quid with "Not waterproof" on the label as the reason for the return, and some idiot was buying them !

We were there on Sunday and the weather was pretty damn hot, even ate a few ice lollies !
First time we've been and even the 1000 mile round trip was worth it, loved the Triumph Speed Triple with the paint jobbie and also the Vmax's that were all tarted up, probably shite to ride but looked damn good, will slap a few photos on later when I get home.

The only pain in the arse was coming home on Monday up the A1(M) where the whole fookin road was closed at the A638 turnoff, ended up of a god knows how long detour through fookin Pontefract !! It was nose to tail stationary traffic for over an hour, thank god we were on the bike cos I could have died in that queue !

Other than that was well pleased with the show and despite spending toomuch dosh, would definately go again.

Although the rain came down in buckets, and the wind was as wild as hell, must say that this year was as warm as any I can remember during the night.. slept like a top both Friday and Saturday night.. Warm as toast !

We spend time in the bar during the storm. Some hours later back at the tent we polished off 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of bourbon. I don't rememer staying awake much after that! :beer:
