A couple of mates are going down and have advised me to go as i am building a streetfighter and want some trick bits for my track bike w;;v They said there was thousands of parts at the autojumble and i would defo find some bits usefull??

Have just dropped some 'stuff' at the BMF and it is Pssing it down big time . . .make sure you take your wellies and a big fat brollie . . . .

Had to chuckle - i saw a bloke and woman having a right ding dong because she was under a tree sheltering from the rain while he was trying to put up the tent :} :} :}

Back just for the evening, and taking one of my kids down early tomorrow morning.
It has turned into a swamp at the showground, with the constant heavy rain we had dropped on us today, along with the thunder and lightning, tents were blowing away and BBQ's knocked over, it was not very nice, BUT.....................
there are some true bargains I spotted. The dealers seem to have a lot of stock to shift at silly prices, on helmets, boots, clothing etc. Without looking too hard I could have bought a Arai Corsair ?150 cheaper than in a shop, and I bet that was expensive compared to some. I saw ?15 a litre, bottles of oil ( must have been good stuff ) for a fiver, 5 Litre semi syn stuff I use for the Bird at ?20.
Bought a second hand Black Baglux cover for a fiver for the Bird, so well chuffed about that one.
Lets hope it's not too wet tomorrow, and someone come and chat about Blackbirds, and not ask the really stupid questions like "does this R6 seat unit fit a R1" ????? Er NO :bang:
Still want a favour for next weekend, so come over to the corner plot with two big white tents near the Exhibitors/Foot entrance is.

Helmet prices

Saw on a stand today, Kiwi full face helmets ( don't know model ) for ?15. At that price you could wear it for a month and throw it away instead of changing the visor :eek:

Hundreds of them.

Went to the show yesterday.Weather could have been better(understatement of the year!) Did anyone see that stall making bike number plates with a sign hanging outside with "No ID required" written on it? The daftest thing is,guess what stall was next door to it...Essex Police Bike section!! My mate had a cunning plan to get a plate made with the Reg off one of the Police bikes stood outside their tent,fix it to his bike,then see how many Gatso's he could trigger before getting found out,but eventually decided that probably would not be the best idea he'd ever had. Dunno though,might have been interesting if it had ever gone to Court! :}

I bought a reject Suomy suit from the Frank Thomas tent again this year. The only apparent fault on this bargain is that the jacket is labelled "56" instead of the "44" it is. Bargain! :yo:

just got back from the bmf show ,first time I,ve been fantastic loads of Honda Blackbirds in the bike park ,no fighting though {must have been the IXXRA lot then :bow:}

No birds on the Honda stand though! There wasn't at their stand at the Dragon Boat racing a couple of week ago either.

Bought a couple of Gortex jackets @ ?30 and ?40 repectively. But my mate had an absolute bargain - Prexport 2-piece leather suit for ?100 from the Fowlers stand.
