What do YOU know about hairdryers Durex?

They come in various shapes & sizes, some have diffusers some don't, they usually have variable heat settings if you have them set too hot for too long it can frazzle your hair, they are operated by use of electricity a simple heating element inside warms the air which is then blown through the nozzle by a fan that is located inside near the back of the dryer the dryer also has vents at the back which if you cover them up will cause the dryer to overheat & cut out if fitted with a safety cut off if not you're fooked, hairdryers are made by companies such as carmen, babyliss & can be purchased from many electrical retailers like comet, curry's etc and can cost as little as a few pounds or as much as a couple of hundred pounds depending on which famous stylists name they carry & which one is in fashion at the time, they are a main tool of hairdressers or hairstylists as some like to be known [in your day Lumpy they were called barbers]

driving to Leeds tonight, following a lorry when there is a loud bang/woosh, my car is instantly covered in what I thought initially, was radiator fluid or perhaps brake fluid, whatever, the lorry pulled over straight away, I had carried on for a short while past the junction exit, then pulled onto the hard shoulder as on "wiping" the screen it went completely opaque, as if you had just wiped newly melted ice, however it didn't clear as I used my screen wash and wipers, it got so bad I couldn't see out of the screen at all!!
I had to literally scrape this blue waxy substance with my finger nails as a cloth and the wipers were useless!! I had to return home as best I could and have tried everything to get this "stuff" off the car, hot soapy water, white spirit, wheel cleaner,WD40,(sorry jaws) paint brush cleaner, tar remover, and even bleach and toilet cleaner!! NOTHING except my "now aching" finger nails will even get near to removing it!! even had the car hand washed "by tame Slovaks, and their "spray" didn't move the stuff, no chance of getting back to the lorry to ask what it is, it doesn't smell, and it wont go away with hot (boiling) water, that just makes it smear!! :bang:
any ideas what the shit is, and how to get rid of it without damaging the cars paint any further??
I thought it may be some of that tyreseal shit for lorries, but it has no "threads" etc as you would find in "slime" etc
HELP!!!
 Just imagin if you had been on the bike %$fan

well I've finally found something that will remove the shit off the car hopefully without damaging the paintwork further, I got a pack of plastic washing up sponges "the thread type" from no frills,!! this I'm surmising, wont harm the paint and will at least save my fingers a bit!! :dunno: all I need now is a bit of decent weather so I can go out and scrape away for hours!!

I think you will find I used the word "fetching" in reference to my rubber gloves, as opposed to "fletching" which I believe has an altogether different meaning!!

AND I've finally found some stuff that removes the shit from the front of the car without "appearing" to damage the paint further!! it's "SX siroflex" trade strength PVCU cleaner, and although I've only used it on a couple of "not quite as noticeable areas as the bonnet" etc, it seems to work with a firm rub!! :bang: yeah I wrote that!! :dunno: though it doesn't seem to work quite as well on the windscreen, and I wonder if the shit was changed in some way on contact with the screen cleaner it was initially "squirted" with!!! :dunno:

and them,!! and Jaws "magical" microfiber cloths :bang: finger nails still the best bet though the "no frills" plastic washing balls do move the stuff best after the nails,!! BTW Clive your more than welcome to pop up and try anything "within reason" to get it off, I know how you like a "cleaning" challenge!! :dunno:
