Torn the Caput Longum ( the big Bicep?) Muscle.
Torn the tendon at the head of the Extensor Carpi (Inside of forearm).
And damaged the tendon in my Triciptis brachii.
( He wrote it down ).

The initial doc should have got me to immobilise the joint and have it supported in a sling!:wank:

quote]
Caput longum sounds like the long head
Muscle on front of forearm is biceps
Torn head of biceps gives you a "popeye" muscle, and a hole higher up the upper arm where it was, before it contracted down to form the lump
Triceps is on the back of the upper arm

Thanks..
I cant read the other bit, but it looks like Planaris ? Longis is it the other bit near the elbow, that appears to be the worst. ( But I left it as I can't make it out properly).
and he did say something about the lump being something to do with 'body builder lump', but I don't have a hole ( I hope )

To be honest, it was all babble at the time, that's why he drew a piccy.
Now you mention it, he did say something about an injury that body builders get when trying to lift above the weight the muscle will take.
and it going pop.

I never thought, I should have popped round, saved all the faffing about,
Would have saved three weeks of nowt.

I tore my right lower leg muscle or tendon about 4 weeks ago, a week later, it went pop tear again (heard it) .. a week after that I stretched it and its torn again... I've been limping for the last week, in agony and the ankles swollen after being on it all day working.

Every morning I have to un-seize it... wifey now says it'll be 8 weeks before its better.

If you do the Oooooing, I'll do the ouching. sh1tehppns

Biceps is V shaped
It has a long head and a short head
Triceps has three (didn't go to that lecture, don't know their names)
Planaris probably means flat
Nearest anatomical word is plantaris, relating to the bottom of the foot
PM me on ixxra if you want to bring your documents round!

It's no problem mate.. I can hardly read the writing, ( Do they go in courses to make it illegible? )

I'll just wait until I see the top dog and get the proper words. It's not as if I can pronounce them!

It shows, bottom bit of bicep, inner side of arm, and outer side of forearm near elbow crease. and an arrow to the back of my elbow. . Very confusing

Just waiting now so ta. no worries.

Did you tell them that you stood in front of a learner rider and let him pull a wheelie into you? No? Thought not. If you had you would still be waiting.:wank:
