try b.b.q fluid ,, i use it for removing pain/tar/ . i try anything 2 see if it works.

or ,, try nail varnish remover ,, i bet it works

Top matriarch can't see well enough to cook nowadays (at 97 her eyes are failing - well, pretty much failed) - My mum did the cooking and took it round to Grandma's!!!!!!!!!!!! Good food and a teency weeency bit of bubbly to celebrate the new baby accross the pond!!!!!!!!!!!! :yo:

Recalling the HOT summer of '76 and running around in bear feet.

My grandmother rubbed butter into my feet to get the tar off.

Do you know Smix, you always put me in mind of my late grandmother. As a young woman she was a nurse ( frowned apon then ) rode a belt driven Douglas, picked up my grandfather for picnics on it and worn leather jodpers. She always done what pleased her and was never offended. Her mind was as sharp as a razor up till the day she went. Her life long nickname was Totty cos she was lacking in height, and managed to climb on my old GS600 at the age of 87:yo:

No offence, just a phrase of endearment.
