Latest update

I appealed the decision and was told yesterday that I have not been successful, no big surprise! however I have managed to prolong the redundancy by another 2 1/2 weeks, so that's another 2 1/2 weeks pay. I also did get a Solicitor involved as they told me during the interview that I was not allowed to apply for the other position that was available - in a redundancy situation they are under obligation to consider you for any vacant position that the company has, so we will see what happens over that? So next Wednesday everything goes back to the company apart from the car, which I can keep for another 5 weeks.
May be a light at the end of the tunnel @tu* ....watch this space :-0) :-0)

Out of curiosity, what did the solicitor say about not being allowed to apply for the other position???
If the solicitor says 'consructive dissmissal' send them a letter saying you maybe taking the matter further.
Thats what I would do, but I'm a bitter and twisted son of a bitch when I've been aggrieved.d04l1ng
