Popped into Halfords to get a switch and mounting plate for a gadget in the Smarty..
Walked in and pointed at one of those big roof mounting luggage box's.
Can you fit one of those on my car today says I ?

Of course sir.. We can do it now.. Two assistants hump the biggest box ( the one I pointed at ) off the shelf and took it outa the door..

10 seconds later they came back ..

To be fair they took it bloody well...

Big grins from both the guys and a YOU BASTARD ! ..

Been using the semi in the Ace for quite some time as have a few others off the TA site. It appears to be OK..... and you get 5 litres for ya dosh :yo: not 4.
I think the list price is a bit higher than that so they must have it on offer again.... I shall give my local Halfords a ring

always found that Halfords had shit loads of stuff on the shelves but never had what I wanted..........weird.:bang:

I just got a Mountain Bike from Halfords. It was ?599 everywhere else, ?499 at Halfords, so I'm liking them right now. :bow:

our local halford had a offer on two bikes for the price of one [cheapest free] bought the wife hers mine was free ,went for a "nice" ride round clumber park ,jeezus thought I was dieing sweating gasping for breath ,when we got home 8 mile in all I gave the bike to my son and stopped smoking
