Thanks all. Don’t think I’m either but we’ll find out! Looking to get a FI bird 2002 onwards with around 20-30k on the clock. Either blue, black or silver. I hear red is just too slow!!
Red's gay. Fact.

It was last MOT's on the 17th October last year and the MOT history tells a tale of a bike used very little annually since it was new; GOT to be worth a look, the MOT history reads well, check it yourself YY04VJC at https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ ""providing"" I've managed to read the reg correctly off the log book's TINY print in the picture !!!!

There I was thinking to give this one a miss...
Last service was 20/10/2017 at 15998 miles and bike has a lock change... Am sure there will be more birds around the corner.

I really would not worry about mileage Farleigh.. Its a bit irrelevant and can limit your search..
Anything with less than 1.5 MILLION miles will be fine !
Look at condition and history.. And try to avoid anything that has been serviced by a Honda main dealer. I spent a great deal of my time from 2000 to 2014, when I retired, fixing bikes that main stealers had 'looked after' !!

I totally agree john, and indeed I bought my first Bird in similar circumstances, but at £3k it is waaaaaay overpriced..............

It may well be but it is not you, me, or any single individual that drives market forces, and once again we are seeing Bird prices rise

I agree John. Two in my garage. Both are in exceptional condition. That said my C90 cub of the same age is hopefully going the same way !

Agreed.

In fairness, the original post was 'is it too good to be true'.

In my view it isn't......... at that price!! Plenty Birds out there without lining a dealers pockets for a bike without warranty.
